1st round of chopping and tac-ing will probably take place this weekend.
I will be going with a 4'x5' box. This will be min amenity, max utility.

Axle mock-up. I love it when math comes together.

Pretty much dead on stock width.

Rudimentary frame mock up complete.

Hopefully I can tac this up and mount the suspension soon.

How cute!  It's so yittle! :D

A comment from the a structural engineer in my office.  Consider trussing on each side to the hitch tube, you have a week spot that could bend both sides around the center tube. Angle or 3/16" plate would take care of it.
Be careful when you follow the masses..... sometimes the "M" is silent.

I absolutely agree...hence the
Rudimentary frame mock up
....statement.

The front will be triangulated and all joints will be gusseted. I intend to 45 bevel every joint to allow for a better weld penetration.

The trailer will be small..very small.
This is my 1st build, and although no corners will be cut, I intend to use this as a learning experience. This trailer will be sold to help fund the build I truly want.
There will also be "C" channel rocking to keep the frame from twisting.

Many projects in the works.
- 2nd battery bought, box is built and mounted. Need to run 0/2 wire.
- solar charge controller wired and ready for panel.
- side lights purchases and wired.
Need to build brackets.
- full pads/rotors/ebrake in hand, need to install them.
- new CB/ham ant mounts and cables ready for new masts (I still need to buy).

Not to mention the trailer.......

New tires and rebuilt suspension is in the wings.
Soooooooooo behind on where I'd like to be.
