So, CB works now... Althought I am new to this stuff so i dont know how well.  I followed the users manual and i can hear some people and understand them.  I can understand all the weather channels.  Its not perfectly clear like a radio but i dont know if it should be.  I guess the next time im at a meet of some sort Ill have to get someone with more experience to listen in and see if it can be tuned more.

Calibration said as long as SWR on channel 1 and 40 are blow 3 I am good.  Its below 1 on channel 1 and at 2 on channel 40.  So i guess its working for now, and the built in antenna check says everything is good power coming in and going out.  So as far as i can tell... Its alive!!!

Break Break...

Next step tires this next weekend.  Then onboard air next month.  After that next step is sliders.

Used the wifes "heat gun" to do melt mod today expecting tires in the next couple of days.  I guess the sale starts tomorrow so hopefully I go in after work and get them.

Copy, our DDG goes up there every once in a while for Port Hueneme because of some of the facilities they have to help our mission.
