Yeah  :D  body work is done on the drivers side.  front and rear fenders are primer grey at the moment.

Thinking about painting a metallic silver streak, like in pauls first sliver chop but leaving the black below that on the doors, could somebody chop together that?

Thanks
Brian

Here it is Brian.  Your wait is over.  This is the paint job you've been waiting for.  I designed it just for you at no cost to you.

I love it.  Everything you could ask for, even some yellow.

Your photoshop skills are beyond compare.

It's probably my best work.  It took me like three hours to get the shading right on the center caps.

:o

I might regret this but I did the body work on the other side also: dent free body for the 1st time in years  ;D ;D

Now what to do about the paint? Solid new lighter color or something different with a two-tone black look :-X

I think Mitch might be on to something (or maybe just on something).  Either way, I'm still liking the whole black & yellow killer bee look.  I'm even starting mine in that direction with my yellow skids.

Two-tone black?  You mean like dark black and light black?

Just keep it black it looks really good like that. Just repaint it. But if you insist on changing colors stick with nissan and go with granite, atomic orange, or yellow.

LineX the whole thing  :D

I looked into LineX'ing my X a while back.  I was quoted $2000 on on the condition I remove all the plastic and rubber and tape it off.
I'm trying to figure out something witty.

Two tone as in black & sliver.  All the body work is on the fenders or middle parts of the doors so I can leave below/above untouched black and just add the silver color over the primer coat I have on now.

The all black look does look nice when cleaned but after 4 yrs I need a change and want something different, thus the two tone.

Yeah I actually had my old Fj 40 cruiser rhino lined, desert beige.  Looked great at first, but it was a bitch to clean and the touch up to fix spots after a while was almost impossible to match (fades over time) so I doubt I would go that route again.
