Father's Day Run to Santiago Peak - June, 15
« on: May 01, 2013, 08:03:56 PM »
I can't think of a better way to celebrate Father's Day(actually the day before) than to run up to Santiago Peak in the Cleveland National Forest with a bunch of Xterra's. This is a 2W friendly run, with a couple of fun obstacle spots, to the top of Orange County. Once we get to the Peak, we can eat lunch, take some photo's, and then head to down to Cook's Corner for the beverage of your choice.

The trail is stock and 2wd friendly. There's some side stuff that's fun to play around on though.

Lovin all the new blood!! This is a great group of Xterra loving off roaders, and it's only getting better. It's the people on this forum that make it so inviting and fun. I'm glad to see some fresh enthusiasm brewing.

I'll definitely have my 2in suspension lift done before this! Hopefully I'll get a set of those white knuckle sliders soon.

edit: Oh and I'll have a CB radio too! Ahaha my FRS radio died within like 2 hours the first time using it yesterday. Such a pain.

And definitely Hevak! Although this forum doesn't have the numbers that other Xterra forums do, I've found it to be way more helpful. Great group here.

Great Trail Post Ray ;)  Way to step up!
It's a great trail for all the new OC guys to meet, and fun for anyone who want's to get their rig dirty!
Sadly, I will be out of town, but looks like you already got a great group so far.
Take plenty of pics ;)
Of all the things I've lost...
