should this be good for Com's for this Saturday http://www.frys.com/product/7184162?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

That would work...but try to save the receipt.

For that price you could get a Midland CB to mount in your center console as well as a nice Firestik and mount for your rig through Amazon.

Is anyone on this run able to bring an SWR meter? Trying to get my crappy cb setup last minute installed.

I'll try to wrangle one up for this run. I have to borrow it from a friend. I'll do my best.

We are still in, looking like it is going to be Wife, 2kids and (Harley) dog on this one.

I could also use your help with the SWR meter, I stripped my firestix on the last run I was on because I only hand tighted it down, being lazy, instead of wrenching it like you are supposed to.  So now I have a quick disconnect (still lazy) but hopefully won't have the problem of stripping again.

If there isn't a group size limit, I may be in for this one - gotta see if pops wants to celebrate a day early ;D
