Topic: Shop recommendations?

Been saving up a bit, and almost ready for lift and locker.  I'm thinking NissTec Radflo Extended Travel Ultimate Kit and ARB RD181.
Would anyone venture to recommended a local (or say...within an hour's drive from San Diego) shop that can install locker and lift?
Would you recommend doing both at the same time?

I don't see why it would be a problem having them done at the same time or not, as long as all the lift or all the locker installation was done at once.

Why not try to have a mod party? At least for the lift, might save you some coin if some locals could help.

Although I'd need space and tools...and my HOA is not as tolerant as Mastagrog's, the rule is 'no vehicle maintenance in common areas', and the HOA president lives just around the corner and walks his dogs often. I'll try Escondido 4WheelParts and ORW for quotes

I have UCA's and rear shocks that need installation as well bud....and we can always railroad someone else into hosting a MOD day....doesn't have to be held at your house....

Soooo.....any volunteers?  I'll bring/make pizza!!!!

I'm about to order some front coil overs, rear shocks, and lift shackles from nisstec so depending on when they get here, I'd totally be up for a mod day. I just can't host one.

Did christian say pizza?!?!  I'm there haha.  I don't have anything to install but I have tools and i know how to use em.  I'd host but don't have much room, just a driveway and the street.

not to thread jack too much, but what are your thoughts on a shop to weld in my muffler?  I am in carlsbad and im looking for a good shop to take care of this for me in a few weeks.

I'll second Ed Hansons. Had him do a cat-back on a v8 Explorer I had. They did an awesome job, plus he stood out in his parking lot talking cars and exhausts for 30 minutes or so Probably check in with him someday when I have some spare cash about making a better Y-pipe for the X.
