Make: Nissan
Model: Xterra 4x4
Trim: Pro 4X, Leather
Color: Lava Red

Mods since I bought it:

Replaced stock Rugged Trail tires after 34k with BFG All terrain K/O in stock size (LT265/75/R16)
Added hood deflector, window deflectors
White Knuckle rock sliders (DOM steel, hand painted with POR15 and then Rustoleum matte black)
Garvin Hi-Lift roof rack mount, single shovel/axe mount

Future:
Replace front skids probably
CB radio install (HAM eventually likely)
Dual batteries
Bigger tires with melt mod if I move to a place with a higher garage clearance someday

Comments:
I love this thing. Took it to Saline Valley in Death Valley National Park last year all stock. Performed flawlessly. I got 34k out of the stock tires before replacing them with the now current A/Ts before an upcoming road trip. Installed the rock sliders myself with help of a friend. I would not recommend drilling into the frame as a fun time.

Per some recommendations over at thenewx, I'm going to switch the hi-lift over to the passenger side and the shovel to the driver's side to facilitate easier and safer access if I have to pull over to the side of the road and change a tire or something.

How did you do those shovel mounts? I used pipe repair clamp for mine.

Good call on the Hi Lift relo.

Nice build thread...and tire upgrade. The BFG's are great all around tires.

If your plan is to off road more maybe look into a nice set of deflators and a battery clip air compressor.

Good luck Kurt!

I have a Superflow MV-90 and a set of deflators. Haven't used them yet, but I will. :)

Clean. A little too clean. Lets get this this dirty!

Hahah. Don't mind me. My truck is two tone and riddled with pinstripes.

Nice build.
If your worried about the shovel point, you can flip it around and slide towards the rear a bit. This way the point will wrap around the back of the roof rack. If you ever get stuck, you might want to consider a transfer shovel (with the flat edge). This will move a lot more material.
    See you on the trail.
