I've seen this X while cycling thru Seal Beach. It's parked on 13th or 14th st. just north of Ocean ave. First time I saw it I was leading a group of 5 bikes and I almost caused a crash when I slowed to turn around and get a closer look. :o

He's got one one those low profile marine gas cans.  Do they work OK?  I just saw some on sale at the Bass Pro Shop, $26 for a 6.6 gal.

Those low profile marine gas cans can also be found at Walmart for an amazing price of $15 (or around it). I learned about it from Snoopy's website back in the days when he had his 1st gen setup--very clever. I used mine a few times when we went to Red Rock Canyon Xcursions... a few years back.
Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst!
