Topic: 2WD runs coming up?

Hey all,

I had the pleasure of meeting Dana, one of the original members I believe a few months ago. His Green X was parked a little bit up my street and it reminded me to get back on here and post. (BTW, sick truck Dana.. that thing is mean)

I know I am new and most people don't know who I am but in my Welcome post I stated that my girlfriend asked, " So... When are you upgrading to a 4x4" after showing her many of the post in the exploration forum. Some stranger told me to "Wife her now", well I did and we are married now!

Make a short story long, one of my co-workers is going to do a simple spacer lift on my truck and I wanted to get out and have some fun. Go camp, go off-road (As much as I can, as I can't really afford anything now.. let alone upgrading to a 4x4), go explore, and meet some cool people.

If there are any trips coming up, we would love to tag along as much as we can!

Heres the deal, I have a front diff..you get a couple of half shafts, a front drive shaft and a used transfer case....I might know where to get one...and we'll have you spinning 4 wheels....for........about......$500.

That sounds pretty good to me... Only thing is its going to be a daily driver. IS this gonna create a fiasco?

No, your truck would still be in 2wd until you shift into 4wd.

Come out this Sunday, meet some really cool guys and take it from there.  There are a lot of guys just like you in the group that have lots of fun with 2wd.  Take your time, you will 'modding' before you can help it
