The first weekend in May there is going to be an even at Azusa Canyon that should be fun.

They have good mud there.

Lol sick! I might need better tires for mud but I'm sure I will find good tow straps instead xD.  I am too neurotic to go mudding with the windows down!

You definitely should not go mudding alone. That's the nice thing about Azusa, there is always someone to help you out.

As for the windows down... It's just more fun that way.

Nick...saw you were asking about a four to five inch lift in another thread. Like Jordan/knightrider said, a drop bracket is one method. Titan swap is another.

I personally believe in getting quality parts for any suspension lift...which aren't inexpensive. However, if you're patient you can find/source used parts at a discount over new for your lift.

What is your purpose for the lift?

-rock crawling?
-pre runner driving?
-fit larger tires?

4 to 5 inches is a great range, but figuring out your purpose is the first step to deciding parts/budget/direction.

Give us a little more info and the opinions should pour in. :)

I just want to be able to handle going over and threw everything i come across. Not to crazy, my step-dad is an old gear head with a f250 with 8 inch lift and said 4-5 would be a good starting point to handle just about everything.

Okay, glad we narrowed it down.

With that goal, a Titan Swap and new rear leafs, as well as dual ARB lockers, re-gearing for 4.10's, and that should get you threw about everything you come across.

PRG, Nisstec, and Rugged Rocks are your go to vendors.

theres so many options even with just that seemingly simple list, and it all depends on how much you really want to spend...

as far as the titan swap goes, you can run the stock front diferental with longer axles($600), or run the titan m205($600) with stock titan axles($150).  for lower control arms you can go with aftermarket stock LCA($130), genuine nissan titan LCA($170), or $$$ dirtking hand tig welded LCA($2000).  then there are coilovers, you can run stock struts and springs with cheap spacers($100), go with radflo/SAW/FOX/ICON coilovers($1000), or custom SAW coilovers specifically for TS swapped vehicles($1300).

then for the rear, you can do an Add-A-Leaf with shackles($200), go with ome rear leafs with shackles($400), or custom alcan or deaver leafs($800). and you may have to get a custom driveshaft($600) with that much lift.

arb air lockers are $1000 a pop and you have get some on board air to run em, luckily arb usually gives you a pump for free when buying a locker.

regearing is around $500-$800 per axle

so yea...6k should do it and thats not even the high end, thats probably bare minimum.
