Topic: Help lifting my new X

I want to lift my 2013 Xterra about an 1.5 or 2". What's the best way todo that and how much? Any type of suggestions are welcomed. Thanks guys

Nothing more than a grand. I just want to lift it about 1.5 or 2 inches  and I just some more cleanest from rocks

For that price range, you have OME(old man emu/arb), Nisstec adjustable coilovers, and Radflo or Sway-away for the front. Nisstec and PRG are the most well known vendors for all of those products. And you can get either Add A Leaf rear springs that will stiffen up th soft rear springs, and/or lift shackles. Plus a variety of rear shocks.

OME is cheapest, appx 1.5" lift and you can get just the front or a full kit. I have it up front and it's a decent setup, not top of the line but good improvement over stock.
No experience with Nisstec coilovers, but they are built off Bilstein 5100 shocks.
SwayAWay and Radflo, but at a higher price point. Better performance, though.

The cheapest way to do that is spacers and shackles or spacers and an add a leaf. Both of those are less then $500 ya can check out prg.

I have both the OME front coil sring and the med. duty rear leaf springs.  Paid @ $700 and works with the OE shocks.  its near top-of-the-line for weight management on the trail when loaded down with stuff.  the cool thing is you can always get better shocks down the road.

You can get a lot of nice gear for $1k.
    If your going to see real off road use, small to moderate rocks, dirt roads, washboard at moderate speeds....I say full Old Man Emo (ARB). Contact Steevo here on this board. He owns RuggedRocks.com, is local, wheels with us regularly and an all around cool cat.
   Struts, rear shocks, add-a-leaf at a fair price.

Not to hijack your tread, but i also have a 2013 X and want to lift it, but i was thinking about 4-5 inches. BL is out of the question. so what is the best way to get 4 or 5 inches of lift without killing my wallet?

calmini 5 inch drop bracket lift is probably the only way to get 5" with enough downtravel to make it ride well. not cheap at $2200

TS isn't so much about lift as it is about clearance; you'll widen by 6in overall, and gain a ton of travel, but if you want 5in that Calmini lift might be your only option

Why are you seeking so much lift?

you can achieve 5" of lift with a TS, but you will be really sacrificing downtravel, and that will just make it ride like crap, thus the comment about the calmini kit being your best option to retain a decent ride.
