Any of the socal contingency want to caravan up for this trip?
   We can set up a meet on a Friday and camp somewhere on Friday night?

I was looking at the area just north of Ballarat. There are Canyons and open desert.
   It's also close to the meet spot in Panamint springs.

Guys sorry for this notice but I'm not going to make it.   Got too caught up with work and my truck isn't ready to the point of taking this long trip.  Rather prefer not going instead of going and having issues on the trail.
