Sounds good Steve.

Might have some local interest as we speak. 😊

Whoever buys it will probably end being the luckiest guy on earth and deserving of a hi-five and extra bacon on all his burgers....

Just sayin...

Hey guys just a reminder that SoCalXTerry, Motorpig77 and I cut up a bunch of wood for the Mojave Rd. I'd like to try and get a consensus of who is going that's down here in the San Diego area. I can drive up on a day off and try to bundle a bunch of it up then bring it down into the city and get it delivered out. Maybe on a food truck Thursday or similar? If you guys would rather buy your own bundles that's fine too just letting everyone know it's available.

Finally booked my room in Laughlin for Thursday night. Does anyone else think it's crazy to pay $15 in taxes and fees on a $24 room (plus $8 more in fees when you get to the hotel?)  ???

This trip is RAPIDLY approaching!

Two weeks from Thursday.

Is everyone making their preparations?  Rig serviced, gear accounted for?

I'm getting stoked!

Same here! I didn't realize it was just barely over 2 weeks away. Funny how things sneak up on you.

I still have all kinds of stuff to get done on my rig. Gotta finish hooking up the new CB, and order a PA speaker, and finish the bracket for the roof that is going to hold gas cans, and finish my solar shower, and install my engine skid, and...  :o Maybe I should take some days off work this week.

I still got a bit of rig prep.  Need to install a cooling fan on the radiator.  I tend to heat up a bit, and with the 35's on, I don't want to take a chance.  Still need to get a 35 in spare, got to troubleshoot my Ironman fridge, it's not cooling down past 50~ish anymore, gotta lube up the suspension, get all the camping gear out and ready to go, trying to convince Shi to let me take out the new toy (*cough 2015 BMW F800 GS Adventure), and she can drive the X.  Figure out what we are going to do with our dog, clean and lube the firearms in case we bring them... yeah, busy next couple of weeks.

Would anyone be interested in hosting a pre-Mojave Mod/prep day?  I would like to change my oil and tinker a bit with my battery to make sure the terminals are ready, and I'm sure there are other rigs that could use some TLC too before we set out....

Just throwing it out there....I'll handle my stuff either way...
