haha i wish,  its been super quiet but i know if i was to try and sneak out of san diego i would get like a million calls from work, and being as im the only tech in town right now, im stuck.

I'm headed out hopefully by 12:30, will monitor SCCX 146.535 and Menifee, Elsinore,Barstow-Laughlin repeaters as I get within ranges of each them.

will be arriving around 1:30 am

There is a KOA right across from the AVI you can legally crash at.

IMO if your showing up at 1:30 am, the avi parking lot near the gas station is where I would crash, then people that show up for the meet can wake you up just in time to leave

Should I shlep it inside the Harrahs?  Maybe move it into the truck for the night?


Speaking of parking, where is everyone planning to park?  
I put letters on a google map to maybe help with a consensus.

A is a parking structure.  I don't fit inside, but I think I parked on top last time.

 Even though they have security and cameras, anything tasty looking to thieving tweeker bastards should be locked down or taken inside in my opinion. I'd sure hate to have anything stolen off of your rig.

no clue, im not even attending , just speaking from past experience... speaking of, the past 2 years we all parked at location C, its a small quiet parking lot off to the side so less chance for theiving tweekers, but bring your guns with standard capacity mags and no bullet buttons just in case

Good times we had once again.
   What a great trip with an awesome group. 3 days is definitely the way to go. So much exploring and discovering took place.
   Thanks everyone for following my crazy ass through the desert with only a rough draft of an itinerary.
