i was beginning to wonder where 120 vehicles were going to fit at the RR Bridge, that wash is not that big of an area, glad they decided to move it further north in the wide open area.

Between the Bradshaw Trail, The Mojave Road trip, and some family obligations, we are tapped out on this run.  Wish we could make it...but another time!!  Have fun guys!!

The Mountain Rendezvous is in September this year.  That is definitely a fun one as well.

Kind of luxurious actually.  Flushing toilets, running water, showers etc.  It's held at a Boy Scout Camp near Big Bear.

I was out there a few weeks ago scouting the area and it could probably fit 120 vehicles (properly organized). There's a pretty wide area on the north side of the tracks where people can fan out all the way to the wash walls, and not sure if doable, but also on the south side of the tracks as well.

At the MRV last year, they were able to fit about 100 vehicles at the boy scout camp and that's a finite area, smaller than the DRV location.

Yea I'm pretty familiar with the area, I'm out there every other weekend, granted most of the time I'm there its night time and gauging the amount of space with limited lighting.

If I'm working Friday, I'll be heading down right after work and aim to be in around 11:30pm. If I don't work, I'll be down there Friday afternoon. I'll be on the lookout for the TTARDT to setup camp. :)

Coincidentally, our family trip to OW is that weekend, so we'll be out there already!  I'll look for everyone!

We'll be down Split Mountain Rd, left at the train tracks and about 10 to 15 minutes down the dirt road.  You can't miss us, lol
