just get semi metalics from autozone/oreally

Did you mean

:D

Speaking of brakes, I don't need them yet, but which EBC color pads work well for a daily driven X?
Is it worth upgrading the rotors to stillen or the like?

I believe they only make the green 6k and yellow 7k for the front.  Yellow is supposed to be HD, they only make the green 6k last time I looked for the rears.  I would stick with solid disks, too much dirt and grime off road for slotted/dimpled rotors IMO.

that was in response to steve asking about ebc stuff. they rate their pads by color/number, green yellow red and probably some others of the rainbow.  if you want good braking, go with ebc yellow fronts with green rears and some nice ebc solid rotors.  if you want to just stop, go to autozone/orlys and get whatever they got, it will work.

Unless your discs look scared up or burnt (blue), you don't need rotors.  Just get the front pads in semi metalic or whatever they recomend at O'reillys/autozone.  You really don't drive well enough to tell the difference :-* ;D

what should I grab for the diff breather mod?  what size tubing?  any other parts I'll need? I searched 'diff breather mod' and only got this thread and Adio's build thread but nothing specific as far as parts go...

Thenewx has several threads about the mod...too many to link. Did a quick search and couldn't find a specific tubing/hose size, but it looks like 1/2" in all the photos I see. There is also a YT video and the guy uses a standard in line fuel filter...which I believe is 1/2"?

Hope that helps a little...

Also...could someone please bring an extra set of jack stands for my rear leaf R&R to rest the axle on?  I have one set and will also be bringing my floor jack.

Thanks in advance guys.

Also...I am working that morning and will be home by 9:30. We should arrive by 10:30....10:45 at the latest.

As much as I do appreciate that Duffman, I want to make sure future mod day attendee's also have the same access...

I looked up the TNX threads and, yeah, it doesn't specify what size tubing, so I'll get 10ft of 1/2 tubing and any left over will be donated or used as a giant straw for my root beer.

I'm torn as to what to bring for food....I have made my pizza there before, but that's really just too much work considering how much time I anticipate being under my own rig and helping with others....so, I'm gonna bring donuts for the AM-ish crew and make sure none of us starve until JAYRAT brings us some yummy wings.

Looking forward to getting yelled at by the Duffman..... ;)

Jump under the X and measure the axle breather nipple...yeah, I said it.  Remember, you are looking for the inside diameter of the tubing Christiaan.  :)
