I wanted to post an update, I called Harrah's Laughlin and spoke with their reservation dept. I let the manager know that we are going to have a rather large crowd, I'm guessing upwards of 25 rooms unless people room up together or don't want to stay there etc. If everyone wants to stay at Harrah's, it looks like I'll be able to swing a good deal on the rooms. They are going to call back to confirm a price quote in the next few days but they said they can definitely lower everyone's individual room costs because of the size. Once I get some confirmation on the price please post up if you will stay there so reservations can be made and we can get the best possible prices locked in.

  Giddy up!

That is fantastic Erik, count me in for Sunday night at Laughlin.
It looks like sunset in January is right about 5 PM, so getting into camp roughly around 3:30 PM should be good.

And that reminds me I need to start to get my cooking gear together. This'll be here pretty soon given the holidays. :)

On October 23 I put in for a permit.  Today I called and they had no record of it.  Denial by run-around.  So I sent a copy to the person I spoke with on the phone and she said she will try to look at it next week.   ::)

That's ok, gives them more time to "forget" that they issued one to another large group for the same set of days  ::)

You can take me off the stand by list. I need to retire to make room for fun.

I'm still in, the only way is that I won't have the Xterra done yet with the V8 swap. But it looks like it will.... I hope. Haha. I don't have a HAM but have a CB ready to install. Just haven't yet.
