Can't wait to head out on the road tomorrow!  I know it was mentioned before, but I don't really want to go through all the threads.  Where is the nearest gas station to the campground?
Yermo.  About five miles east of Barstow on the 15.  There are three gas stations, a Jack in the Box, and Peggy Sue's diner

Wah-Hooooo!  So excited for this adventure to begin!

We are leaving tomorrow morning, super early, to get a fun-filled day of wheelin' in before this trip officially begins!

We are running Cuddeback Rd to Husky Monument to Inscription Canyon to Rainbow Basin.  It's a long day, but we still expect to make camp in Afton Campground around 4pm.

Looking forward to wheeling and camping with this group!  Yee-Haw!! :D

Mike, that's a weird spot to store an air mattress. Jeep people are weird.

I almost decided to bring the dodge. I need more bed space.

Yermo Ca, closest fuel station and prices are currently around $2.76

When you are out that way if you run across anyone please try and get some Soda Lake intel. Both the parks service and BLM have been 100% useless saying they don't know which I find absolutely amazing that nobody has been out there or no reports coming in.

Fyi we can take afton out then evaluate soda lake. If it's not passable we can by pass it using basin road.

I think that's a fine idea, all I'm after is a little pre-run knowledge if we can get it.

Hey folks,

I'm sorry but BlackWidow and I are going to have to drop out of this most delightful adventure.     Remember as Ghostx says:  Pictures or it didn't happen.

Be careful all and don't do anything I wouldn't do.  Oh wait!! Nevermind.   >:D  Have fun!!!!!!
