Any update on the CODE?  :D

Not yet, I called the person handling the account and left a message today as well as an email. Hopefully in the next couple of days something will hopefully come through so folks can start reserving their respective rooms.

Ok guys I got the reservations set up. There is a link to click on or you can call in with the listed code. On the link make sure you select the right date (01/17/16) so the reservation will be made. If you want to stay longer it's up to you. We can book as many rooms as necessary so hopefully everyone will take advantage of this. I will contact their security and Laughlin PD to see if we can't get a little extra love there for our vehicles in the parking lot. If you have any issues with the group rates etc, please contact me on here, PM or by phone as the manager handling this wanted me to contact her directly. So without further adieu book away.

http://www.totalrewards.com/hotel-reservations?propCode=LAU&groupCode=L01SCX6

For guests that prefer to phone in their reservations, they may call our Reservation Center at 866-781-9572 to secure a reservation in your group block.  Callers must use your group code to identify the group, L01SCX6.  The name of your group is SCCX.

Please note that you and your guests may make reservations in the block at group rate until 01/03/2016.  After that time, the group rate will be offered based on hotel availability only.  Once the deadline is closer, I will also be reminding you to make any adjustments to your block as allowed by the attrition clause in your contract.

Sweet!! Thanks, Celt!!  ;D ;D

Okay - to those who have stayed at Harrahs before - is it better to book North or Central Tower?

Ditto on that: I'm ready to book, just need to know if there is a difference or not between the two towers.

North Tower then?

North tower is further away from the main casino and I believe the rooms are also a little older. That's where you'll find the cheapest rooms ($25-ish a night during the off-season).

In reality, you can book a room wherever you want to suit your needs/taste/budget, but the group rate will very likely be for the north tower only (and again, it's probably only going to save you a couple of bucks off of the price, because that's basically their minimum price).

Thanks for the info Joe!  ;)

The group rate shows both North and Central Tower rooms - which is why I asked which was better.

basically the group rate is for a classic room in the north tower, any other options are considered extra and are $5.00 extra, thus the $27 for central tower vs the north tower for $22.  the north tower deluxe rooms are basically a better bed and nicer sheets, probably the same that are in the newer/nicer central tower.

Just don't forget your really nice NorthFace jacket here because they'll "lose" it  when you call them to get it back.
On the other hand, Tamarac Lodge in Mammoth is awesome about shipping the HAM radio you leave behind.
....just sayin...

Doh, I would gladly donate winter coats, just not my northface.
