October 9-11 sounds great.  I'll even let you guys buy me a beer to celebrate my birthday on the 10th. ;D

So who's planning on roughing it? And who's planning on getting a room?
I'm gonna start trying to talk to some camp ground up there and maybe get a lower rate locked in since I'm a retired Marine I maybe able to get us onto the MCCS grounds and cabins they have up there. If they are open then.

I'm pretty sure we have access to a really nice campground since we are a part of Adopt-A-Trail

Maybe find out if we can use it for that weekend?

This sounds quite fun and interesting. If I'm able to make it, I'd rather be roughing it. No point in having all this equipment and not using it.

So what trails will we be running. I have done gold MTN and Jacoby a number of times and can lead or trail gunner on those trails.

Holcomb creek and John Bull is a must for the more build guys.

We can even offer up a gold mine tour that are 2wd friendly.

I was gonna say why not run two groups like done in the past if we get enough rigs to show. Do easy to mild trails for one and hard to extreme for those that have a rig  that can take it.

Scott do you happen to have any photos from your weekend trip? It sounds like you covered quite some ground.

I would definitely agree: I'm sure there would be enough people and interest to have both groups going.

Sorry ... I was solo and didn't take any pics ... It was cool though ... I was following some jeep and we hit a fairly tough section on the trail and I could see it I. His face. He didn't think I could make it up, let alone keep up with him!! I love showing up the jeep folks.

There will deff be interest in levels of difficulty.
We have ran greens, blues and blacks in the past. The smallest group was black trail and we had 4 rigs. I think Ghost (yeah I said it....GHOST!) had over 10 rigs on Rattlesnake Canyon green run. Terry had about 7 rigs on Pontiac.
There's got to be something for everyone.
