The day ended up a bust. I had my son with his cherokee following me, when on the 15 North just past Summit he disappeared. I got a hysterical phone call saying he was in the center divider and the jeep wont start. I doubled back to find him hood up and steam coming out of his ears. I did my best road side diagnosis, scratching my head and saying I have no clue, and called AAA. If AAA says they'll make it an emergency call and have a truck out there immediately, take it with a grain of salt. 30 minutes later the truck showed up and we had the jeep towed the 46 miles home. We thought it might be the fuel filter since that was the only thing we didn't change during the engine swap, WHY, I don't know. That still wasn't the problem. After a couple of phone call the mechanical I know, it was determined that the distributor is bad. So guess how I spending my Sunday.
All wasn't a loss, did make it out to Toro's to lead a hand on Garrett's rig and add a few barbs and one liners to the afternoon.
When I got home and saw the news, I guess it was good thing we didn't make it Cleghorn since there was a brush fire that would have happened a few a hours after we started. The drive home would have been a mess.
