We're looking for a person to lead Pontiac Sluice on Saturday. Would any of the current attendees be interested?

Thanks Danny for taking over. It is much easier with someone going to the final details.
I know everyone was looking forward to seeing the beast in action and no one more then me. But sometimes ya gotta be a little smarter and wait a little longer till I can get thing done right instead of rushing. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics from the run.

As much as I'd love to help....I've never been on it....and not knowing a trail and leading a run doesn't make any sense to me...

I'm staying at one of the local hotels and planning on coming up Friday afternoon, is anybody else coming up at that time?  Are there plans to get together Friday night?

I will be driving up Friday evening with friends 2 jeeps are coming with me.  Not sure what time we will get there, but we are staying by the Baldwin lake side.

one will be doing black (TDS George), one will be doing all blue.

Danny can you please add Rawkon (Kevin) to the blues.

I never run Pontiac before, but I know Kevin did.  If we can't get anyone to lead that one I will ask.

Can we please assign radio channels to the color trail each day.  I will let the expert radio geeks do it.

We should have a general channel for global comm and specific trail comms.

Okey Dokey,  9AM @ Vons is a great plan for all the right reasons.

I will be leading the RSC loop on Sat.

"Can we please assign radio channels to the color trail each day.  I will let the expert radio geeks do it.

For the Green trail we wil use Simplex 146.535  CB 14  as not to compete with

Celt's Blue  Simplex 145.5200  CB12

As a general channel for global comm: 2M repeater: 147.330+  Tone:131.8  sounds great Celt.

So just throwing this out there. The blue trail groups are getting big. I am all for getting as much trail cover in as little time possible. Do we want to break the blue trail in two groups? And flip flop them on Saturday and Sunday.

I think I have two more coming, I haven't confirm their trail choice yet. But I would like to cap gold mtn at 15 trucks.

I couldn't agree more.
Would anyone be against splitting the blue groups up?

Sat - Group 1 GM
Sat - Group 2 PS

Sun - Group 1 PS
Sun - Group 2 GM

?

We will need a lead for
- PS on Sat
- PS on Sun
- GM on Sat

If we don't have leaders or tails for two separate groups my suggestion is to have a co leader in the middle stack the group with well equip vehicle in the front. That group won't stop for the tail.

For gold Mtn, we will all meet up at the rock garden for pictures and lunch. Then move on again. We will take off in same order then meet back up at the end of the trail.

My friend asked if we are doing a BBQ... I was thinking we could do a night run of rose mine or tip top mountain. What do you guys think?

Bro, you are the perfect one to herd cats as a tail gunner. Since you are Canadian if something goes wrong everyone can by default blame you.
