I gotta tell ya brother, if you have a desire to make that Ranchera again I'm all over it like white on rice!
I'm in there like swim wear. Asada and DosXX is my staple of a good time.

Ordered a few things, most should be on the truck in the next 2 months. Due to previous discussions here I just ordered the amber covers for the rear D2, and already have ambers for the Q2s up front, but those guys are super bright, dont think the rig in front of me wants these on.

Also been doing a few meals a week on the skottle so I dont look like such a noob on it, but cooking is one of my 5 passions. so how does food on these things usually work?

Just to touch base, Amber lights are not a requirment for this run. I got them because Christiaan and I haul mad ass through the desert and it's sometimes hard to see through the dust. Although they are a good idea and members are encouraged to look into them, they are not required.

Christiaan will start up a separate thread for those interested in pot lucking.
We sometimes pick a theme for the meal but it's only a direction for those that would like to participate and have troubles picking a dish.
It is a "come one, come all" and bring what ever you want.

Not a requirement, but I good idea. I live in the desert and I'm frequently in the desert and the lights would be a good idea for me to have. I'm probably going to use the lights you used, with the add-on brackets and bolt them on the roof rack. Which ones do you have flashing? Is it Amber solid and white flashing?

On the food note, I will be in on any potluck style meal you guys want to do.

None are flashing.
Amber is always on. Red is a piggy backed brake light and white is piggy backed reverse.
Reverse and brake are on a super slow blink. Thinking about removing that and keeping them solid on.

Couple of things.

Regarding food, should I bring my explorer 2 burner and griddle?
I'm definitely bringing the Skottle.

Second
Santa is bringing me an REI tent for Christmas. Am I still allowed on this trip ???

First,
Wait till we get more direction as far as food to determine what to bring. In general, a good cooking surface is always welcome.

Second,
That's the most ridiculous thing you've said in a while:-*

Flashing brake light up high might be a good thing, works well on motorcycles.

Hey Danny, please add another vehicle on the wait list under my name.  Jonathan has a 4x4 95 4runner nowadays and If there is room, he will probably enjoy driving himself around the desert with us! Let me know if there are issues with this.  Thanks buddy.
