Any Requests for specific food/beers? Since I'm not mechanically sound as of yet, I'll bring some goodies for the group

Will anyone who is coming to this mod day have a 3 1/8" hole saw for the snorkel installers to use? I know Toro picked one up, but I haven't seen if Toro is attending the mod day or not. That's quite a drive for him. If not, I'll order one, but need to know ASAP so we have one in time.

Mike says the borrowed hole saw measures out at 3"

But he has a set of hole saws in storage.  We can check out if there is a 3 1/8"  in the set tonight.

Bring what you like to drink/eat - just bring more of it.......   ;D
Ideas:
Big bag o' Salad w/ a jug o' dressing
Cheese Platter
Pinwheel Platter

Duffer has a frig and a nice house to stage food.  Last MOD day - someone even had meat from a crockpot.
And everyone munched on Joe's cookies prior to lunch.  ::)

Post what you decide to bring and I will update the OP.

I'll be bringing spinach queso. It's still a possible partial install for the HAM. The radio is mounted, but I'm not happy with the location. I haven't run power yet, this will be easy. I have a different antenna set up coming, that's what might be getting installed on Saturday. I might need help with programming (I have the cable and CD), tuning, and HAM operation for noobs. Should be a fun day.

I'm about 50% sure I'll be making the trek there. Still waiting on confirmation of a cover

Toro: Damit!!

Geoff: What Barb said, bring stuff you like, that way if it sucks, you can still take it home with you :)
As for beer, any imported lager (and yes Canada is an import Jay), that way if no one likes it, I get to keep it ;D

Everyone else: If you have any skills/knowledge on removing window tint from Nilda's Honda, please share.

Thanks, Randy

If it's just sitting and she doesn't have to drive it, spray with an ammonia based window cleaner, cover with saran wrap and park it in the sun. Let it sit for a few days and respray if it dries. If she needs to drive it, just do the same process the day before you want to remove the tint. The tint should peel right off, should...

I bought a 3 1/4" hole saw today at the local hardware store that I'll bring along on Saturday as well. They didn't have a 3 1/8", but the 3 1/4" worked just fine. Only 1/16" larger on each side of the hole than the recommended size, which the snorkel body covers up just fine (as long as you drill the hole in the right spot).

That being said,  the snorkel looks bad ass!  Can't wait for Saturday so you can help put ours on - now that you are the expert.  ;D

I will NOT be able to make this one.  Other commitments.   :(
