Idk I over think everything. I just picture playing tetri's inside and then imagining where do I put stuff when it comes time to sleep. Yet down know if a have the roof rack or awning room set up. To have the extra space. So we shall see. All advice appreciated.

I would recommend going on some of the overnight or two night runs that will start happening in our local deserts once the weather cools off a little more.

Not sure if anyone else is on the SCXF group on Facebook, but there's a planned run October 24th in Ocotillo Wells, and there's a group planning to camp Friday night(23rd).  Anyone is welcome to join, and might be another opportunity for some SD folks to do a meet and greet with their crew like we did in Big Bear.

I know the temperature will be WAY DIFFERENT than TMR, but at least you'll see some of the camping gear that some folks take.  I'll be on the run as well.

Are you referring to the one on September 24th?

Just a word of caution... anyone seriously planning to eat MRE's for six days... when you pack that toilet paper, make sure to pack a midwife and a suture kit  :D

That's if you're even able to go. MREs have many undesired affects.

Just do it up!  Make room in the cooler for some LEGIT food(sorry Eric...but NOBODY LIKES MRE'S).  Even if you overpack, there's plenty of time each day to pack up.
