Idk I over think everything. I just picture playing tetri's inside and then imagining where do I put stuff when it comes time to sleep. Yet down know if a have the roof rack or awning room set up. To have the extra space. So we shall see. All advice appreciated.

If it makes you feel any better, the vast majority of the time I sleep in the back of my X on these runs. If you put both seats down there is a ton of room back there. From what you are posting it's just going to be you on the trip. You could easily bring everything you need in a backpack with extra water bottles shoved throughout the vehicle. If you want to go in style a cooler will make your life easier, bundles of wood easily go inside a burlap bag on the roof or inside a Trasharoo on the way out. You will be surprised at how much room you really have.

Now that things have gone in my favor such as suspension upgrade and bigger wheels/tires soon, there is a good chance on me getting back on the list. Only thing keeping me back is that this event will take the same time as my bday. I will check with my fam to see if they have anything planned for my bday, if not then I will be glad to be involved. Still be in 2wd but im sure its doable.

That's all you need sometimes. I eat what I catch. Good motivation to run faster and catch animals.

I wanted to ask you guys going on the trip who is interested in staying at Harrah's over the midway point? If I get enough interest, I will call ahead and try to get another discounted room group buy. I can't remember what it was last year but they gave us a really nice deal.

I know I'm interested in staying...even though we're not doing the return trip.  I'm sure Fire Ninja and #2 would be interested as well.

I checked my credit card statement, it was $30.24 for the night.  That included dinner at the buffet.

You must have got the on the slide deal, I thought it was around $30 for the room. I need to check into those rooms again and see if I can't swing a buffet special or breakfast or some such for the group.
