I was thinking about having a fire at the campground tomorrow night as long as we can get there early enough. If you guys are interested please bring a little extra wood along in addition to the other bundles you are already hauling. As I get closer I'll be on the Barstow repeater 146.970 - no tone to monitor for anyone in the area that may need anything. If you need my cell PM me but I don't know how good cell reception we will really have if any.

Everything is packed (no room for the generator and chainsaw).  Just have to remember my pillow when I leave the house for work in the morning.  I will be leaving Kearny Mesa about noon, with a stop in Barstow for fuel and wood.  Hope to be at the campground by 1600.

 Man I wish we were all packed. Were getting one of the vehicles out of the shop tomorrow about 1030 then a mad dash back home to load everything up and try to get out of here before 1400. If you forget your pillow it shouldn't be a big deal as Fathead needs about 15 to support that gargantuan coconut of his and he probably won't miss one of them.

  On a lighter note, the weather is saying rain up to about 1600 and about 34f then it's supposed to taper off to showers and clearing around 1700. The entire week should be clear and sunny.

For the 146.970 repeater, it is a Negative offset, with a PL of 151.4
There is also the linked system run by the same club.  These may also give us coverage.  I will monitor both en route, then switch to whichever one I can hit from the campsite.  The specifics for the linked system are:

The Linked System – 147.180+ PL 151.4, 147.885- PL 151.4, 146.700- PL 151.4
These are numbers 9-11 on our Comm plan.

Their club web site has a map showing that this linked system gets coverage from Victorville to Vegas and south to Palm Springs and nearly to Needles.

I will also monitor simplex 146.5350

I know AJ and Lemans are heading up early...so they should be there before the sun goes down.  I on the other hand will not be leaving until at least 1700.  See everyone there!  I picked up 3 bundles of wood, so based on the fact that we have 10 rigs now, we might not be having a fire in the morning of NY Mountains...

 Thanks for the update, at this point I think we can safely assume Alex will be a no-show as nobody has heard from him in a very long time. I agree with your other post and hope he is ok.
