Feeling bad for the OP here. I promise we don't normally jack threads this bad, especially welcome threads, but Toro is a legend around these parts and us SD area folks are doing backflips about his news. Conversation to be continued here: http://www.sccxterra.com/smf/index.php?topic=3065.new#new

Danny, if you do indeed move (and you too Joe, saw in another thread), I'm available most days to help anyone that needs it. Don't hesitate to ask!

Sorry about the thread jack.
Geoff, that's very kind of you and If I were to make a move I would take all the help I can get.

Joe,
Are you thinking of moving too?

We're already in escrow on a new place. It's about a mile from where I live now in the same city (and thanks for the offer Geoff. I have a huge family that is always willing to help, but I'll definately let you know if we need an extra hand!)

I'm only about 20 mins north of Escondido/San Marcos, and I drive right through Escondido on my way to work every day. Plus GeoYota just moved to Escondido, and as you know, there's a TON of other peeps in the area. Having you move into the area would be epic man!

On a side note... I drove by my new house today and noticed that the guy who lives two doors up has a weird roll-up style door on his 3rd garage (not the typical residential roll up with 4 panels, but an actual rolling door like a storage unit that rolls into a small circle at the top inside). As I stopped to ask him what it's all about, I observed him wrenching on a Suzuki Samari in his driveway that looked like it was on 45" tires, and with rear shocks that are like 5 feet tall. I'm not kidding, this thing was KOH status.

Anyway, in asking about the garage door, I learned that he has installed a vehicle lift in that side of his garage, and has vaulted out the ceiling to handle the height of a car inside. I'm definately going to be making friends with this guy quickly!  O0

I have looked into costs of vaulting the garage ceiling and raising the garage door, its not too bad and it makes a garage much more useful when you have a lift installed :D

I'm very flattered this subject took on a life of it's own.
Since this, now, has its own thread.....I wanted to let yall know that I declined to accept the position offered to us. Although this position had some perks, it didn't warrant the risk of uprooting my family and starting all over.
Thanks all for the kind words.. Still near Pasadena,
Danny
