I'm still trying to figure that part out. I've never done a "group buy" and am not quite sure the best way of going about submitting payments and/or collecting them. If anyone has experience with this, please chime in.

Good question, not sure if they stock or are infact build to order. With a 4-6 week lead time, I'm under the impression they are build to order. On top of that, I wonder if a deposit is needed for "cash at the time of pickup"? Seems like a potential risk to build them without deposit if someone has to back out that was going to pay with cash.
Regarding a time frame to gather people and their orders, what sounds good to you guys? Maybe the end of April?

Since your already in contact you should ask if they charging tax first then the discount or discount then taxes. Or even better no tax and discount with flat rates. If you can find out I can go ahead and work up for the numbers since I work in finance would take me seconds to calcute. You should ask if they give military love.if they do pile up the cash and do the group buy with me to get a lil extra discount muhahahahaha

Don't forget to ask about that military see if we can get more out of it and we put it all together..and do the group by under me so we all get the addition discount . If that's the case and they allow it cash would maximize the discount

Be careful about asking too much.  You already have the 5 and 10 % discounts from them, if you bug them for more, they might decide to not support the sale.  10% off of $500-ish is a pretty good deal, plus you'll probably be saving buy not shipping any of the sliders.

So I asked a friend that in the metal industry and he thought the DOM would be well worth the ~$36 more the the HREW metal saying its quite a bit stronger.  He provided another link about the diff.

Dang guys,  good deal. If I didn't already have a set I be on board.  Hmm, maybe time for a 2nd Xterra. FYI I bought the DOM's unpainted. Rustoleum Professional primer and black is holding up great.

Fourxfunk, did you use standard rattle can paint or some form of truck bed liner type.  I am pretty sure I'll go bare metal as well with the thought that most any serious rock strike will scratch to bare metal and I might as will plan on touching up now and then with the same paint I started with.  Kind of the same theory as my bumpers/plastics and rims painted.
