Got my notice that the sliders are done and can be picked up starting Sat.   I'll be heading mid morning.

Nice! I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they foresee mine being done and ready for pickup on Saturday as well.

So Natalie at White Knuckle got back to me this morning saying that ALL the sliders from the group buy are available to be picked up.  I plan to go tomorrow and can pick up the 3 for SD.  They are closed from 11-12:30 and its about a 2:30 drive so I was planning on leaving around 10.

Yup! She emailed me too. I plan on leaving Long Beach a little after 10am, closer to 10:30. Maps shows about an hour and 45 minute drive time. Ill keep an eye out for you Jeff, I'll be in a white Pro-4x.

Here are their hours according to her last email sent:

Mon – Thurs, Sat & Sun 7:00am to 5:00pm

Lunch 11:00am to 12:30pm

Fri – By appointment only

I headed out to WKO this morning with my wife and baby and arrived at about 12:15pm. Out front there was a pallet full of sliders...which ended up being our SCCX Group Buy!

John was so cool, seriously. He brought my sliders over to my X, and we chatted for about 15 minutes. He let my wife use their bathroom to change the baby. His shop partner John was also really cool. I'm very happy with my choice to go with WKO. I placed my order on May 3 or 4 and they were ready 5 weeks on the dot, how rad is that!?! (They told us 4-5 weeks)

And after the first or second pass with paint. I'm letting them dry over night and will resume tomorrow with a few more light coats.

Beedee, I picked up the 3 sets for the SD guys 1/2 hour after you, sorry I missed you.  I couldn't believe the size of those sliders for the max cab long bed Ram.  Hate to pay shipping cost on them.

Sounds like a request for a mod day.  If you live in an apartment or condo, Painting is an issue.

No worries man, sounds like we just missed each other!

Here is one more picture of mine. I have to hit the inside of the rails with more paint this afternoon, as you can see in this last picture, I didn't allow myself easy access to that area of the sliders in this configuration.



I do live in an apartment, luckily our garage is plenty big enough to be able to do this and other type of work in it! The plan is to install them tonight at my buddies place.
