I shotgunned a quote out via Yelp to local muffler/weld shops. Most are coming back around $150 with a 2-3 hour job scope.

I had my Shrockworks sliders welded onto my X by Jason at ORW in San Marcos. Cost $160, but they were s-o-l-i-d. A good consideration esp since we all use our sliders as Hi Lift points of contact when...jacking.

i have also not drilled the extra holes and have had no issues landing on my sliders, i've checked the mounting bolts a few times in the 3-4 years and they have not loosened up at all.

I couldn't quote you a cost but I know someone who can do it and make sure it's done right.

Did you use anything on them, like loctite or similar to it or just your hands and prayer that they don't fall off??

If you do not plan to weld them, lock washers and some lock-tite is a very good idea.

I used lock washers, nylocks or locktite on all the bolts.

How many bolts does that end up being in each arm of the sliders?
