On a side note...is the spot we ate lunch at actually on 2N02? That spot needs some love.

No 2n02 becomes burns canyon rd where the Olds was dumped, the left we took is viscera springs Rd.

It is outside of the National forest but no reason we can't go there and clean up that area.

Ah gotcha, I'm thinking a clean up is needed, but I think we'd need a truck or something to haul all of that out.

Think a open 5x8 U-Haul trailer could make it back there, from the way we left?  That might be big enough to get that crap out of there....

Hey, we've all been there at some point. I saw the patch. Did a rock puncture it or was it something else?

I not sure what got it but it left a .75" gash right in the middle of the tire. It's definitely leaking still so I'm going to have America's Tire give it the once over. On a related note I scored a set of used Staun deflators on Ebay. Live and learn.

The price of scrap metal has gone way down, so it's almost not worth it for tweakers anymore (they'd rather be stealing mail and credit cards now). That being said, I'm sure one of 'em will come get it once they know it's there.  :P

As for the area off of Viscera Springs Road - that's all BLM land. In the past, the BLM has been receptive to organized cleanups in other areas, and has provided roll-off bins for garbage and rangers for safety and to keep unwanted folks out of the area while it's clenaed up (just look on CalGuns - they do it all the time).

If someone reaches out to the local BLM field office (Palm Springs, I think?), they might be willing to go to that lenght as well. I'm confident we could fill up a 40' roll off. I found two or three different shooting spots back there when my little bro and I were exploring a few weeks ago, and those few spots alone had enough junk to do it.

Anyway, this looks like an amazing trip and I'm sorry I had to bail at the last minute everyone. Stupid work. :(

Sounds like a rock might've got to it, but I bet they'll be able to patch it.

Hey guys! Took me almost a week, but I have a couple pics from the meet.  Unfortunately I didn't get to meet a lot of people (there were too many), but myself and my friend, James, had a great time talking with Tim about his rig and wheeling together after lunch.  I believe we went on 2N16 to connect to 2N02 if I recall? I normally take a lot more pics, but I didn't get many at all on this trip; hopefully next time! And hopefully next time I will meet more SCCX members!

Up front is James flexing he is (in the picture) with my rig in the back

Next is Tim flexing on this rock! There's a pretty sweet video I will upload if I can with Tim going through a nice rock garden type area.

As usual. I'm late to the party getting these picture up.  Sorry James and Ryan.

The three us decided to go back up into Big Bear while the rest split to Rattlesnake Canyon or Pioneer Town.  We were hoping to get into the rain, but no such luck, it never reached the ground.  We took 2N02 back up until we ran into 2N61Y.  A black Diamond Trail that none of us had ever been on.  What a great trail, beautiful scenery and a few fun littel rock climbs.  Here are a few picture I took.  I'm also including a link to a couple of videos i shot of the Guys rigs.
