Well, it's official, everything is on order, in shipping, or is already here. I will have my axles and struts assemblies (going an experimental Toyota Tundra/Tacoma route with this, as posted by Chris over on CF and TNX) together prior, so this should be a pretty straight-forward affair, not much different than just throwing a normal lift and UCAs on. The truck is still fairly new, as I was able to remove it from North Dakota before seeing a winter up there. I installed cam bolts about 10K miles ago and used anti-seize on them, so they should be good to go.
With all to that being said, I think I would be able to knock this all out in about a day by myself at the auto hobby shop, but I would love to get SCCX involved and shorten the process. It would also be nice to have someone along that has been through the process, to make any suggestions or provide input should anything come up.
I wouldn't mind traveling down to you all for the help, but I would most likely need to get the thing aligned before driving all the way back up here. That would mean, a) getting it done really quickly in the AM, then hitting an alignment shop in the afternoon or b) banging it out one day, spending the night down there, and hitting up a shop the next day. I'll throw another option out there, too, we can do it at my place (or the Auto Hobby shop, but I would have to sign you all onto base), I can fire up the grill that night, and we can turn it into a party up here. I will also have one bed available, a futon, and a couch should anyone want to stay the night.
I'll be pretty much out of town starting next Monday, through the 11th of August, so I'd be looking to do this sometime towards the end of August. We can also put out the call for those couple of guys that still need to get their snorkel and suspension installed. Let me know what you think.
