Updated 1/16/17:

Due to general lack of interest, this meet and greet is TBD until further notice. We had a decent turnout for a few months, but it was the same 3 or 4 of us showing up each time and we finally decided that it was easier to just get together on our own terms. So for now, we'll put this on hold until we get more interest from members in the Inland Empire. In the interim, I'm always up to grub and talk about vehicles and wheeling, so if anyone in the IE ever wants to have an informal meet (or if we ever want to slap together an impromptu get together), speak up and we'll make it happen! :) Once the spring and summer months roll back around, maybe we'll attempt a "re-launch" and see if we can get a good turnout each month.

Credit is TOTALLY yours, Joe!! He who does the work, gets the credit!  ;)

And HELL YEAH!!  Let's do this thing!  That Portillo's it the perfect spot - close to the freeway, close to shopping, close to Costco, etc.

And has a huge lot for our gorgeous trucks to be showcased.... Great pick, Joe.  O0

I just realized I said "Tuesday" in my OP, when I meant to say "Thursday." OP has been updated... does this change anything for you PainRoller or fourxfunk?

This means our first meet would be Thursday, 8/4 (8 days from now), if that works for everyone. Looking to some of our other locals here... GHenderson? Alex? I chatted with Motorpig77 via text yesterday (he's on a road trip at the moment) and he'll be posting up when he can. We have several new Inland Empire members over the past few months who've posted up in the welcome section...

TerraX (Yucaipa)?
BlackwidowX (Corona)?
Blue_Chuey (Menifee)?
ManduhO (Big Bear)?
Spectre (Hemet)?
Off-roadNovice (Rialto)?

I'm sure I'm missing a few more locals here. :) I can also extend the invite over to the SCXF folks on Facebook. There are several Inland Empire folks on there.

Yep, it changes things for me - but only for August.   :'(

I pinged a couple of these people on their Welcome thread  ;)

I don't yet know my schedule for next week, but if I'm off that evening, count me in.

Ok... well based on PR's situation for August, and the fact that Motorpig is out of town, let's push our inaugural meet back by 1 week, with the subsequent meets to be scheduled on the first Thursday of each month.

So our inaugural meet would be Thursday 8/11, and the next one would be Thursday 9/1. I'm going to make the date "official" in the OP, and we'll let people post up as it gets closer if they plan to attend.  O0

Joe - now that this is "official " - shouldn't this thread be pinned?  8)

You are already using your new privileges for good Joe...and I'll show you how to stick a thread. Very easy, just look at your options on the bottom of your page...

How come nobody told ME about these buttons? >:(

Never mind...  It's because I own a flip-phone isn't it?

I could use those buttons if I wanted to.  I just don't want to, that's all.  I got way more important things to do, than play with buttons anyway...  I'm busy writing  a book.  Yeah.  It's called "To many button pushers and not enough Indians"   And I don't mean those stupid Indians that answer the tech phones either.  I mean REAL red blooded, red skined Americans.  Real Americans who never needed buttons, not even for their clothes.  Europeans brought buttons to American.  And as history has shown, nearly wiped out the Real American people.    If you bastards want to continue this genocide of peaceful farmers, that's fine.  But I shall have no part of it!!!
