Of course anyone else with mods to tackle are welcome. I have only seen Jayrat volunteering to come lend a hand, is anyone one else coming that has done some of these mods or is willing to lend a hand? I have a Jeeper friend that is planning on hanging out, he'll probably do my harm then good as he is used to over complicated expensive mods on his Jeep.
Again, I have garage space and at least one part of the driveway that is pretty flat for suspension work, an easy up or two might come in handy as the sun gets higher. My driveway is 4 cars wide so there is plenty of room for other mods that don't require level ground. I'll have at least 2 or 3 floor jacks and 4 jack stands along with one set of the tools needed. Since this is the first Mod Day I have been involved with I will probably keep it simple. I have a fridge in the garage, a grill anyone can use and there is fast food 1-2 miles away. Bring any food and drink you want to eat and share, nothing formal. Sat. forecast shows partly cloudy and 81 for a high. If anyone wants to hang out and cool off, I have a pool with solar heat to wallow in as well but please bring a suit, its not Saline Hot Springs.
I plan to get started by 9 am and go until we are done, there is a OReillys part store a mile away if needed including some loaner tools. My address is 13847 Sparren Ave. 92129 so let Google tell you how to get there. Should be plenty of street parking if we are not wrenching on your truck. If we get enough help I think we can bang out these mods fairly quickly so even more of us can get out in the back country and have some fun!
