So I got under my X today  :o   Lets just say I have gotten my moneys worth from my shrock skids. My oil pan skid has a nice bend now  ;D   I think I am going to place an order for my sliders on monday or tuesday from AJ's Off Road Armor. I was thinking of getting these (see linky) http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com/G2_Xterra_SuperRails.html. What do you guys think?? AJ's sliders or Shrock sliders?  Also does anyone know how I can get in contact with Alex the guy with the yellow 4x2? he left his hydration pack in my X.

Doug! I remembered I left it in your truck only until I started back down the mountain. :( I'll send you a message. Thanks!
Great run! Good thing I caught up to you guys. Radford was a great trail, I took it on the way down as well. Can't wait to see the pics and stories.
Side thing: With the SCCX sticker, what material can you use to make it a window magnet? Are they just two thin sheets of magnets?

Office Depot sells flat magnets that can be run though an inkjet printer, probably perfect to make into an SCCX magnet. They're sold in the paper area.

Gold Mountain was a lot of black diamond fun. We did run into a traffic jam with 19 Range Rovers/Land Rovers who were hung up on a nice section of trail. We lost an hour in that SigAlert waiting for them to clear. That trail is always a bunch of fun and it's right up to the limits of what our trucks are designed for. I shot some experimental video that came out pretty good. I need a couple move video cameras or need to work the scene a lot harder to capture the drama.

Camping Saturday night was great. A beautiful unimproved site out in the middle of no where. Lots of food - surprise we brought too much! - and plenty of chatting and star gazing.

Sunday we went up Heartbreak Ridge and made it though the "squeeze" before Brian's truck said it had enough and we had to turn back down. Lots of good tough black diamond action along that trail to be sure.

Just got back home, thanks for a great weekend and for spotting me along the trail.  I'm already looking forward to the next Xcursion.

No problems with the X after Gold Mountain except for some reason my low tire pressure warning light didn't reset until be got back down to almost sea level.  I looked underneath and saw some scrapes on the stock skids and frame, but nothing too bad.  I wish I didn't plow bumper first into that rock though, but it will buff right out :P

I took Melissa up on a bunch of roads off 2N10 today so we could do some hiking and take pictures of the lake and mountains.  Then we drove to the North side of the lake and walked along the paved path.  There were some really nice views and we got some great pictures.  I know she loved it up there because she was already talking about going back for another weekend on the drive home.

Thanks Brian and everybody for a great run.  I'm glad I was able to make it.  The pot luck was AWESOME.  I really enjoyed the huge campfire and especially sleeping in late and doing the full group breakfast buffet.  You missed a good one Mark.  I got home in time to fix the mother in-law's clogged sink.  If you're familiar with the process you'll understand when I say it was quite disgusting.

Trust me.  You would not want to see pictures of what I snaked-up out of that sink.

Thanks for the great run guys! I will definitely be out on the next run. I'll post up some of the pictures I got when I get to my laptop.

Frank, I sold all the club stickers so I owe you some money.
