I may be back in if you'll have me.  Should know today whether I can get a half day on Friday or not.

Steve, you could also leave real early Saturday morning and meet us at the trailhead.

Dale, I am going up Thursday - just because I can.

Dale - my wife and I are planning to leave Murrieta around 10:00 am. Like usual, I'll make a full day out of the trip up there without much of an agenda. Just exploring along the way. We do plan to spend some time exploring around the Lone Pine area before meeting up with the group for dinner, I'm thinking we'll hit the Alabama Hills area.

On that note - should we pencil in a time for dinner as a group?

I think we are heading up around 10am...just to beat any traffic, and to just chill out.  This trip is on the tail of a very exhausting last few weeks at work, so a little R&R is well needed.

One week to go.  Weather is looking great.  Lone Pine temps projected to be 90oF/60oF, so figure we will drop 20oF due to elevation.

Have you ever used a tent heater at the elevations we're going?
