I have used the natural gas method. :D But I usually end up sleeping in the tent alone. :-[

Have you ever used a tent heater at the elevations we're going?
No.  And I am taking my tent cot instead of the ShiftPod this trip.

I'm staying at the Comfort Inn Thursday and Friday.  Meet for pizza at 7 p.m. Friday at the Pizza Factory, 301 S Main St, Lone Pine.

Can I "couch surf" anyone's campsite?  I'll chip in for fees.

The wife is with me this trip, and the more comfortable I can make it for her, the more she'll come along

So telling her to do jumping jacks and pushups to get warm wouldn't be the best option.

I'll let her know you said that, so when someone gets smacked, it won't be me.

I have used my Little Buddy heater in the bunkhouse at Cerro Gordo several times and had no issues.  I usually carried it with me to the out house as well, might as well have as much comfort as is easily possible.
