Topic: Borrego Springs Nov. 3rd or 4th 2016

Been a long time since I have been on here. Back in the fall of 2015 my 2004 SC/SE 4x4 Xterra was totaled on the 91. I however did not know this as it just looked like a bumper problem. It handed Calcite Mine Trail fine but when getting it checked out in Los Angeles they totaled it out as the frame was very bent.

Back to the original post. On one of those dates I met two guys in lifted Xterras with SCCX decals on the back in the parking lot behind Kendall's Cafe in Borrego Springs. Just wanted to reintroduce myself and reach out as I suck horribly with names. Hope all is well and here is a picture of my old rig and my new rig. Hope I can still hit the trails with you guys.

Hi Bruce, nice to hear from you.

I think the two guys you met at Kendall's were Randy (RBduffer) and Erik (Celt).  They mentioned it.

I thought you were on your way to Australia, or something like that.  I only hear bits and pieces, as I don't frequent social media type sites.  How are things going?  Are you going to be around here for a while?  Sorry to hear about the old Xterra. 

I'm hoping to get out to Anza Borrego later this year.  It would be good to catch up with you.

I like that first picture (maybe because that is my old truck out in front).

Frank it has been way to long! They did ask if I knew you. It was interesting saying that I was in SCCX back in the day like 8 years ago. I am moving to Melbourne, Australia for Grad School in February. But for now I have some free time. I am actually back in Los Angeles near LAX. Wont be in Borrego for a long time. Might go once in January but after living there for three years I am not going to make an effort. Hope all is well.
