Some new developments, looks like it's just me goin down there. I should be able to get there fairly early so I'll try and get a nice level spot and hold some ground for the rest of you guys that are coming in later. I'll most likely be hanging out on 145.535

PS; Can't wait for the Dutch oven competition. I have completely revamped my new and improved secret recipe!

Sorry Your family can't make it, but glad you'll be out there early.
Level spots are aplenty, about 20,000 acres :D
I'll try to monitor 145.535 as well

PS;  Start that oven EARLY >:D

Look like the wife and I may come out for the day to hang youz guyz. :)  We'll try to leave the OC early in the morning to avoid that wonderful South bound SD traffic.

I wish I could pop in and hang out for a bit, but we committed (months ago) to taking the boy to Monster Jam in Anaheim this weekend. Have fun out there guys!

Looks like I'm going to have to flake on the day trip.  I'm in the process of studying for a important test on Tuesday and I'm afraid to miss the study opportunity. :( :'(
What a nerd! Study over offroading!  Hopefully the last time.

And 9mm pistols.  I'm looking for my first one and want to try a bunch before I buy.

I don't have a 9mm.  But I am bringing three .45s (pistols) and three .308 rifles.  Since they cancelled the official steel shoot, we will need to move over a canyon or so and set up our own range.  I am bringing steel targets as well as paper.  Happy to let folks try out my various implements of destruction, once I get the rifles sighted in.  It's been so long since I shot the rifles, I need to check them first.  I was hoarding my ammo over the last eight years!  Now I need to make sure I can hit my target at 300 yards.

Just got home, had a blast with more shenanagens and the nightly Steve Show! As to my recollection everyone had a great time sitting around the fire talking and just in general enjoying each others company. Some damn fine 0100 meals cooked on that skottle by Chef Jordan!!

We don't get together nearly as much as we should!

The new fun quotes of the trip: Duffman, "If I'm the voice of reason, you are really in trouble"
Hennie, "I wonder what time The Steve Show is going to start tonight"
Jayrat, "That sounds like a good idea" =After Sobe bombs get mentioned.
