I'm trying to lobby some (unsolicited) support for our friend and fellow member, RikRong (Rick). He finished a very close second place for Truck of the Month during December over on The New X. If just a couple of his buddies had voted for him, he would have been a shoe-in.
Rick is an outstanding member of the Xterra community, both locally and nationally, and is always willing to help out a fellow X'er. Whether it's wrenching on your rig, setting up and hosting awesome trail runs, hooking you up with parts that help you with your project, or simply giving advice and answering questions, Rick is always there for the community. Plus, he's got a bad ass rig that is fully Titan-swapped, very capable, and gorgeous to look at.
Rick's photograph for his TOTM submission was taken by yours truly in the El Paso Mountains (near the Burro Schmidt Tunnel) during a trail run that Rick hosted earlier this year. One comment last month over on TNX said it looks like it could be the cover of a Nissan brochure. The New X puts out an annual calendar at the end of each year that features the TOTM winner for each month, and personally, I'd love staring at that awesome photo of Rick's truck for the entire month of January next year.
