Topic: Long weekend

Anyone interested in doing a trail during the long weekend for Memorial Day? I' know there one run going out but they fill up fast. So perhaps just a day trail local to socal just to get out.  Done corral canyon and parts of otay, pretty fun to just get out there and enjoy nature ( till you get stuck and you went alone). Open to ideas where and when? On for this weekend, even if it's just palomar rd

Ps I am a 2wd and my cb is not hooked up

So Cal Xterras and Frontiers is doing a Cleghorn run on Sunday.  You can easily do the main road in 2wd, and possible some of the side shoots.

Mmmm appreciate that, there's a thought but let's see if anyone is looking to do a trail and use that as the fall back plan. Just in case do you have a poc for them to see they have a group max or set requirements

You'd have to check out their Facebook page.  Honestly, they don't set a lot of requirements and there are 13 people signed up.  Last year, they had a lot more trucks out there for this run.

I'm just saying the forum it's dead lately I would have though some people would have jumped up at the idea of running a trail over the long weekend. Or is it cause I haven't said a destination so it doesn't spike their interest??
