It was very warm for the season with a blistering sun all day. I sprayed a ton of sunblock on and still got a little burned. I'd say it was in the mid 80s all day but being directly in the sun was pretty harsh. We kept stopping for breaks in the shaded tunnels.
This was an EPIC trip, and crosses a huge item off of my exploration bucket list. I'm very happy to have seen this bridge in person, and I want to say thanks to knightrider for leading this trip and to everyone else for letting my out-of-shape butt tag along. I feel surprisingly better today than I expected, but I've definitely got some saddle soreness and muscle aches and pains, especially in my arms. A bike with suspension would have helped, but I'm proud of myself for getting this done with what I have. I will definitely not be afraid of mountain bike trips in the future.
I got some epic video with the drone, and will get it posted up sometime this week.
