SCCX Cl-10 trail
« on: January 25, 2018, 03:06:19 PM »
 RBDuffer, Jayrat, The Boy and I all met up and did a something of a black diamond run at a secret location close to home. After a little late start at the gate keeper we headed off in style. Some of the tougher obstacles were known as "The full rack" which I just couldn't get through even with lockers and a bad attitude it got the best of me. Jayrat and his son handled the last obstacle "Bread Pudding" like a boss and The Duffman seemed to get through Two Rib ridge without much complaint but I believe he was cheating using his motorcycle. It appears as The Boy did sustain some trail damage and his bank account is now a little lighter. All in all a good time was had from what I saw and hopefully we can hit this trail again soon enough.

I guess we'll have to wait for you to get your 110 film developed for photos?

I've had a few back fires after I hit the road

  I wish I had brought my 110 because there would have been some good shots. I was too busy wheelin to get any pics.

Would this "secret location" by any chance have a sign near the door that reads something like "Phil's"?

Now that I think about it, I wonder how crowded the Rancho Bernardo parking lot is on the third Thursday of the month.

  Close.... Brett's is the sign right in front of the gate keeper.

Well done Frank.  I was there, and I wasn't sure what the heck Celt was yammering about.  Yes, the 'trail' meeting was delicious.  ( Sorry I could not come up with a single clever metaphor, dam it}

The one in Encinitas?  That place is great.  I worked down the street from it for several years.
