Looks we won't have open camp fires allowed. With that being said, anyone who is attending taking a portable firepit? I was considering buying one but wanted to check in first.

From what I understand Joe is kind enough to bring his campfire.

Yes, I will be bringing mine, and I think there was someone else in the group with one last year. It's not super big, so if anyone else has one, I'd suggest bringing two if we can. I'll also be bringing my 10 lb. propane tank, but with two nights on the propane fire, it also needs to power my stove for Saturday morning bacon and any other cooking I do for myself and my family. So if someone else can bring some more propane that would be great.

So Sharon says it is time to start talking about ...  FOOD!

She is planning on preparing a Charcuterie board for Friday night to share, and Saturday morning we are looking at a couple of options.

Do we need to start a new food thread?

I took your good idea and started a thread for us: https://www.sccxterra.com/smf/index.php?topic=4777.0

As of right now propane fires are acceptable from their website guidelines. Due to fire danger not changing anytime soon I think the only fire they will allow is going to be up at the main fire ring. Last year those fire in a can deals were really nice. They actually put out some decent heat and flicker around like a wood fire but there is no smoke to deal with.

As of right now I'm planning on meeting Scuba Dale on the way up there and plan to be there before noon. If anyone else wants to jump in let me know!

Looking forward to seeing you again! I'll be showing up Friday afternoon at best, probably more likely to become Friday evening. :(

FYI - there's a food thread started. Trying to get together a group breakfast on Saturday and/or some refreshments for Friday evening, if you're interested: https://www.sccxterra.com/smf/index.php?topic=4777.0

Is there enough propane fire pits already.  My friend has one if we need another one.
