I've been on TNX for about a year now and just made way over here to SCCX. I have a white 07 S that I picked up this past January and have been slowly getting the X back to proper working order. The previous owners did not keep up with maintenance. I bought it with 118k and I'm at 135k now. So far, I've almost done a complete overhaul of the cooling system, fixed the timing chain issue, fixed a bad AC leak, replaced spark plugs, swapped out the shot stock suspension with a complete OME MD kit, changed all fluids and put on new wheels and tires. I'm planning on replacing u-joints in the coming month and then will be slowly transitioning into a mild overland setup. I really like the X community and I look forward to meeting other owners in the future.
I went up to Mammoth this past weekend for some light snow wheeling and I was very pleased with how my rig held up. Here's a shot from the Lower Owens.
