Nice shots Oz.  Looks like a fun trip.  We've tried to get to Big Sur three times now, seems like we always hit Monterey too late and then wind up putting it off until "next time".  Thanks for posting those.

Thanks Frank! Was a fun (albeit short) trip. You should really make an effort to get up there. Its a long haul but worth it. Very beautiful. I came back with a new sense of desire to become successful; would love to buy a home on Pebble Beach!

Nice pictures Oz. Is the picture labeled " Near Big Sur" taken from a campground ? Looking for someplace to go this summer.

Don, check out this thread on thenewx, apparently this person was recently camping around Big Sur. There is even a map, I think on the second page or so. I thought it quite a coincidence that I found both Oz's post and the one on thenewx on the same day.

Duuuude! I've always wanted to go to Big Sur!

Did you guys check out the Hearst Castle? Cambria? Morro Bay?

Unfortunately that's where I unwillingly got to test my ARB bumper against a local ruminant mammal with antlers while driving one starry night.

Thanks for sharing Oz!
Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst!

Looks good man.
I like sammiches.  And bacon.  Sammiches with bacon.  And chips.  Lots of chips.

Monterey Bay Inn ( http://www.montereybayinn.com/  )

My wife hooked us up with a GREAT deal. About a third of the regular rate.

Its at the Northern end of Cannery Row.
