Howdy
« on: May 09, 2010, 12:25:56 AM »
Thought I'd stop by and say hello, been lurking for a while, finally getting around to writing up what I've done with my X...you can see details here:
http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28432

So far I've mostly been wheeling with some buddies of mine who have Tacomas.  They tend make fun of my fat ass X, since it's a bit wider than their trucks.  On the other hand, my ride is nicer and I've got a better stereo  ;)

Welcome to the club.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

We all drive X's, some first, some second generations ... but none with a fat lip mod!  ;D

It's been awhile since we've done a run but I think we've got the Mojave Road (over) due and really need to get 'er done before too long and it starts to get hot out there. The season was way wetter than normal years and Soda Dry lake in the middle of the western section wasn't very dry! I was out there the third week of April and there was still water in the lower 1/3 of the lake.
