Made a trip up the mountain to test of the rebuilt track bar...  Broke again...  Regardless, here are a couple photos for your enjoyment.

LOL Matt. That last pic your doors look like the right shade of silver. LOL. Hey it was great meeting you again at the Doubletree last week. My coworker wants to know when I am going to make mine look like yours with the SAS.
But he said it was stock friendly!!

  It was good seeing and talking w/ you too.  And if I ever ditch or replicate my rear bumper you'll be the first person to know.
 
Well when it comes time for you to SAS I strongly recommend a modified version of the Calmini kit.  After 2 years on my 3 link I've learned a few lessons.  

Two weeks ago I (with some help from my brothers) I cut and rotated the knuckles 12 degrees on the Dana 44 to increase the pinion angle and straighten out the front driveline because I kept blowing up CV joints in my front DS.  That was a lot of work. :-)  

Then took the X back to Firestone to cash in on the $260 lifetime alignment deal I got on the X right after I SAS'd it.  And they gave me a 50% refund after their best technician admitted to not knowing or understanding how to properly adjust a 3 link suspension setup.  I literally had to sit him down and give him a tutorial.  After the tutorial he said he could do it, but that they didn't pay him enough to adjust trucks like that.  The only thing he was able to adjust was the toe and that's not what I paid for.  Didn't ask for 100% refund because they've adjusted the toe on the X a few times now.

Oh yeah, and don't go w/ the grassroots4x4 Nissan to 1350 CV adapter.  The front driveline is too short and creates to my geometry in CV joint.  Getting a custom shaft from either Tom Woods or Wade at Drivelines Inc is the right way to go.  The adapter is a great idea, just not that great of an idea and didn't get enough trail testing before I bought it.

And if you go SOA when you get SAS don't use a Deaver 3" 10pk.  My driving was to fault when I rolled over back in May of this year.  But, I've come to learn that those springs are far to soft and should never be used in a SOA application ever.  Almost rolled again this last weekend because the rear springs collapsed (didn't break though) after hitting a hole while going up a fairly steep hill.  Literally came to the same tipping point as I did last time but had the presence of mind to back down.  The top 3-4 springs of the Deaver 10pk died months ago due to fatigue because of spring wrap and now can't handle the weight of the rather hefty X especially under flex.  So, in a few days, a custom pack from Alcan will be showing up that's properly weighted for the loaded 3000lbs rear end in a SOA, armored, 35"+ application.  :-)

Oh yeah,

   And I forgot to mention.  Going w/ 35's w/o regearing to anything lower than 5.14's doesn't work well if you like to crawl.  I've got 4.89's right now and I can't go slow w/o riding the clutch.  I wish I could have put t-case gears in before the SAS.  But, there's some lesson one must learn the hard way.  Right now, I'm doing research on the 5.89's that just became available for the HB233 rear and have always been available for the D44 to see if they've got what it takes to properly roll 37's.  And saving up for t-case gears too.  And trying for a set of lockers (Aussie upfront and RG lockright in the rear)....  Unless things work out w/ the girl and then the X well...  Then the X doesn't get as much of the pocket book.
