No one ever asks me for pictures of me.  I have some of Dan and John from Area 51 too.  They're special.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

I've heard it said that human beings, unlike almost all other life on this planet, have the ability to learn from the experience of others - yet they seem quite often very disinclined to do so.

Trust me, this is one of those times when you want to learn from the experience of others. Like Paul said, "Something once seen can not be unseen."  Paul saw things the last time this subject came up, that's why he's so messed up today. He may never fully recover.

I lived in Vegas or 12 years and knew 2 guys that worked at Area 51.

No you didn't.  You never lived in Vegas, you never knew two guys, there has never been a 51st area.  Never.  Ever.  Never ever.

Being married for 10yrs. with 3 kids, I still don't feel it's innapproriate to ask for a picture.  It could be of herself or her ride.  No one said anything about naked pics or other such type.  For all I know it could be a mean-looking xterra with a Total Chaos 5" lift outfitted will ARB bumpers and gear.  We don't know.  But for everyone's sake, if anyone felt creeped out, I'm sorry and I apologize.

And they're going to know this how?  Try putting yourself in their shoes.

Let me put it another way.  If your wife put up such a post somewhere, how would you feel if some stranger online asked her for a picture of herself first thing?  Perhaps then you might feel that it could be inappropriate.

I agree, if we wanted just to see the car then we should of just asked to see her xterra. well may be she will come back to us. Hell I'm married too and i would be upset if some one asked to see a picture of my wife if she was in her shoe.
